Come
Ride with QuickSilver!
Are you ready to take the next step in riding? If so, QuickSilver Ladies Equestrian Drill team could be your next move! Come out and take a look at the fast paced adventure of equestrian drilling. If you're ready to experience the "Thrill of the Drill" look into doing Equestrian Precision Drill and compete with us throughout the Northwest. There are just a few things you'll need to make sure of before you can become an active member of QuickSilver. All QuickSilver riders must be active members of the Clark County Saddle Club (CCSC). We practice, train, hold drill events and have lots of fun at the CCSC and we know you'll find lots of benefits to being a CCSC member. Membership on QuickSilver is open to any woman 18 years or older. 16 and 17 year olds will be allowed at the discretion of the Drillmaster and approval of the team members. Deadline for new riders is February 1 of each year. We accept new riders from September 1 through February 1. Exceptions can be made by the Drillmaster.
All members are required to own or have access to a horse. All horses must be western gaited and between 14.2 and 16 hands in height. No stallions are permitted. Horses must be in sound condition and currently vaccinated. Horses are to be groomed, clipped, bathed, and shod (if required) before performances. Practice drills are Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. sharp (saddle and warm-up earlier so you're ready to ride at 8:30) and end at 10:00 p.m. Does this peak your interest? Send us an email for additional information! We'd love to hear from you: Team Captain. |
